This policy explains what personal information SPORTONOM collects when you use our sports ground booking website, and how it is used and protected.
1. Information we collect
Account details (name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password), Google sign-in details if you use Google, booking details (ground, date, time slot, amounts), payment references, transaction status and any receipts you submit, and basic technical data such as IP address and browser type used for security and fraud prevention.
2. How we use it
To create and secure your account, process and confirm bookings, verify payments, send verification emails and booking notifications, provide support, and prevent misuse of the platform.
3. Payments
Payments are made by bank, wallet or Raast transfer, and by card where offered, through licensed payment providers. Where a payment gateway is used, card, bank account and wallet credentials are entered on the gateway’s own secure page. SPORTONOM does not see or store your full card number, PIN or wallet password. We share only the booking amount, reference and your contact details with the payment provider to process the payment. We keep only the payment reference, amount, status and any receipt you upload that are needed to confirm and audit your booking.
4. Sharing
We share booking details (your name, slot and booking code) with the venue owner so they can host you. We also share data with service providers that help us operate the platform (payment processing, email delivery) and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention and security
We keep records for as long as needed for bookings, accounting and legal obligations. We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and audit logs to protect your data, although no online service can be completely risk-free.
